Last year the Carnival fun kicked off Friday 8th July with a free pop-up cinema in Sanders Park, then on Saturday 9th July at midday with the parade snaking through the town to Sanders Park which host such entertainment as live music, charity stalls, trade stalls, funfair, dancing and sports events. There was yet more of the same on Sunday 10th July.

There are two categories which include commercial and charity/non-profit/arts and craft. Those listed below are eligible for the cheaper rate available via booking charity or non-profit pitches:
- registered charities
- community groups
- sporting clubs
- non-commercial organisation
- religious groups
- plus Arts & Crafts!!!
Please note the following restrictions:
No ice cream, tea/coffee or burger vendors can be accepted due to contracts in place with the landowner.
No funfairs and inflatables.
No Forever Living and UW Club.
All bookings of this nature will be refunded.
