Carnival fun kicked off at midday on Saturday 1st July with a newly reinvigorated parade with the theme ‘Once upon a time’ and snaked through the town from North Bromsgrove High School, past the Strand, the new library and Asda. We expect it will arrive at 1.30pm into Sanders Park which will host such entertainment as live music, charity stalls, trade stalls, funfair, dancing, 2 mile children’s challenge, the Timberhonger 10k and finish with a free outdoor cinema showing the multi-award winning modern fairytale La La Land.
