Bromsgrove Carnival is a not for profit event that has been run for over 100 years and is run entirely by volunteers.
It is not connected to Bromsgrove District Council – but they are an excellent supporter by allowing us to use Sanders Park.
The event raises money for a nominated charity (or charities) and the charity is nominated at the A.G.M. The money is raised by means of organising a Carnival and/ or Carnival Parade and/ or other associated events at given times throughout the year.
It shall, by the very nature of Carnival, aim to provide entertainment for the people of the Bromsgrove and further afield. Some entertainments are to be free, so the cost is not prohibitive.
It shall maintain a close liaison with other organisations, which arrange events during or near to Carnival, which have a similar objective. Carnival is not a political event and the organisers wish to stress that anyone with a purely political agenda will not be welcome.
